The concept of Fast Track was born out of editing from existing sessions when the material lacked sufficient spoken material to show an actor's true value.

Rather than admit defeat we found that it was possible to film and edit a scene with just the director acting both as cameraman, soundman and editor. Still producing a scene that would look like one from a production.
